I've seen every Cowboys game, without sunday ticket

I also live in Connecticut, and have also gotten every single game.

I believe we'll also get Cowboys/Colts at 4:15 PM EST on CBS next week.. the week after that we have the Bucs on Thanksgiving, we'll get the Giants game because we get every Giants game no matter what, we'll get the Falcons game on NFL Network, and we'll get the Eagles game on Christmas Day at 5 PM EST.

Only games we have to worry about are the Saints and Lions, but absolute worst if you don't have NFL Network you see 13 games in Connecticut, if you do have it, you'll see at least 14.

Pretty crazy but I'm not complaining. And you guys would be surprised, there's alot of Cowboy fans up here. I have alot of family in Dallas and being a fan just spreads throughout the family.

I'm in CT too, last week the game was on the Hartford Fox channel but not NY. I get both on Cablevision.

My roomate has gotten more outta more Sunday ticket watching his Bills...Lol...But I'm not complaining.

It amazes me that the Pittsburgh game isn't being played in half of Pennsylvania.

The Eastern half of the State is pure Eagles territory. They hate the Steelers. They'd much rather root for the Cardinals over The 'Boys.

I am not 100% sure but I think they try to show divison rival games when there is not a local game conflict.

New York, Philly and it appears that some of Virginia is gonna get the Cowboys game.

I know when the Cowboys are not playing I always seem to get a divison rival game if they are playing.

Bingo! As long as there is no conflict. If there was a local NFC road game in the same time slot, say SF @ NYJ, the original poster wouldn't be getting the Cowboy game.

That blue patch over Virginia makes no sense, unless a prominent player is from that area.

Northern VA and MD have their share of Steeler fans. When you get a little farther South in VA, it's pure Commanders county, thus The NFC East game prevails. Often times you'll see a lone Cowboys "spot", smaller than this one, in Southernmost VA. That would be the Big Stone Gap area, home of Julius and Thomas Jomes. Would they be "prominent" enough?

My wife is from Philadelphia. The folks in Philly don't care about Pittsburg. Its a distance.

A little over 300 miles. Cities like Detroit, Buffalo, Washington, Cincinnatti and even Ft. Wayne, IN are as close or closer to Pittsburgh than Philly is.

P.S. Not sure how old you are, but has your wife ever heard of "The Geater", Jerry Blavat?

My Brother who's a Boys fan lives in Conn. also Bran. he tells me it's usually either the Giants or Cowboys on tv. I figured as much because it seems that states that don't have NFL football seem to gravitate towards showing Cowboy games.

I live in DC and the only Cowboys game not shown on local TV to this point was the Texans game. The only games that I may not see all year are the games @NY, vs.NO and vs. Det, along w/the Texans game. The rest are games part of national telecasts. So I'll get to see at least 12 games this year w/out any type of NFL package or having to attend a bar. Pretty good....

I'm in CT too now, but I'm very close to New York City and we get NYC television stations. You must be closer to Hartford and Rhode Island. (We get this weeks game, but didn't get last weeks)

The only reson why I don't buy Sunday Ticket is because we get almost every game here in AZ. If the game isn't on it's a short drive to the Cat House and the food is good there anyway.

It's because of the Giants and their starting times being different than the Cowboys. Division games drive which game is on. That is why the Pit game is not on in Philly and we are.

Or else there are a lot of closet Cowboys fans there.

Danny White was in town working for the 2006 elections. He and his business partner Jamie (a future member here) met me there to watch the game.

Many of the military families scattered throughout Virginia (Having moved from the D.C./Northern VA area) grew up as Cowboy fans too, having been stationed in Texas earlier. I'm willing to bet that the majority of random Cowboy fans within VA have family miltary/goverment background.
