J.Reeves, Nate Jones and Roy williams all must go

We have got to do this offseason at DB, what NE did at WR this past offseason. we have got to overhaul this secondary. for those who say we are stuck with starting Roy williams. that's pure nonesense. if a guy keeps getting me beat in big games. im not going to keep starting him no matter how much money he makes. he needs to be traded or reduced to a role player on this team.AKA SPECIAL TEAMS.if you are only playing himbecause of the money he makes. you are killing your team's chance of winning.THIS GUY HAS TO GO.PERIOD!Reeves and Jones have no business being 3RD and 4TH cornes on any team in the NFL. they are pitiful. and we may have to look at replacing Anthony Henry. the guy stays hurt and is way to slow for a corner.the number one fix this offseason, has to be the secondary. Newman is the only player who's job should be safe.

I agree there need to be changes. Just remember, it's easy to say replace someone. Actually making it happen with "improved" players at the position is a different animal. I doubt seriously that there are 3 names in FA and draft, that are available, affordable, and would be better than those three. By the way, Reeves was the most targeted corner in football.

NE did it by going out and getting R.Moss, Wes Wieker,D. stallworth and Kelly washington. all in one year. we have got to do the same thing with our secondary.and let's face it.anybody is better than Roy,Reeves and Nate jones. they flatout suck. and i want them gone.

I'm sorry all of you homers but he is just plain overrated and he has just gotten progressively worse. it doesn't matter if we put him as a linebacker on third downs because all an OC has to do is move the tight end over where Roy's obligation for the down is to cover him and not worry about the run and it's just like Roy was playing as a safety. He has crappy instincts in the passing game and in this day and age in the league you at least need some skill in that area.

He has little to no coverage skills true, but the sad part is that he is not even a force at the line-of-scrimmage anymore. When was the last time you saw him make a game changing hit. He is shell of his former self and a complete liability.

The problem is that Moss, Welker, and Stallworth all cost close to nothing compared to their real or present worth. It will probably be alot harder to find players in the secondary who have the talent we, and the rest of the league will be looking for without handing over boatloads of dough.

Newman the only one whose job should be safe? Hey, I was pretty satisfied with the job Kenny Hamlin did for us this year. Anthony Henry can make plays, but I agree that he is simply too slow at times...
My suggestion:
Draft a couple talented, young, speedy defensive backs with our first 2 draft picks. We would only need one to start (admittedly....starting 2 guys that young and inexperienced could be suicide). The other could contribute in the nickel or dime and on special teams.
