So what are you helter skelter people thinking of Jaylon's progress as this calamity of a season has progressed? Are any you finally seeing a glimpse the light that I see shining bright next year after a year of seasoning and truly getting back to 100%?

I'm just asking for a friend... Y'all know I wouldn't trip.

I don't write him off but I also don't go into the offseason thinking he's a piece you can count on. I look to fill all three starting LB positions. Obviously you're not going to do that in one offseason but the point is no matter where that new LB fits, Sam, Will, Mike, he fits on this team.

He’s a player that has been away from the game for an entire season rehabbing and he is improving with experience. Who would of thought?

I agree with Risen though. I wouldn’t even act like he is on the roster come draft time. If he wins a starting spot, great but we need to add several linebackers.

Still needs how to step into the hole and take on a blocker with physicality if he’s going to be the starting Mike. When he can run freely in space to the ball he’s going to be good/great. When the play is right up the middle is when he struggles. We’ll see how it goes...hopefully he keeps getting healthier and better

Agree with Risen. He appears to show some progress although he started at the absolute bottom.
If we can find playmaking LBs at any of the three spots we need to grab them. Feels like we need one starter at LB in the draft at a minimum and another either in FA or draft that could start or develop into a starter.

Tony said it best. Sideline to sideline he’s fast and gets there quick. It’s understanding the play and coverage. He’s getting his legs under him. I believe he can be something special....hopefully

I would agree that LB needs to be at the top of the list but not because of an improving J Train that will be just fine...

We need a LB or two because of an unreliable tease talent in Sean Lee. AKA China Doll.

AND... to piggyback off of my aggression post, this LB or two does not need to all come via the draft. Become FA players. Stop sitting on the sidelines while other teams snatch up all of the high and mid level FA talent...

He needs to add strength to his upper body to improve his tackling. This offseason he should do be able to do that since his knee appears to be fine. I do wonder if he would be better in a attacking scheme not this Tampa 2 scheme we play.

I think quite a few of our players would benefit from an attacking scheme.

I would not count on Smith but really none of the LBs (even Lee only due to injuries).

It’s time to draft and sign a new group of talented and dependable LBs.

We all know we need LB's, heck I been saying it since before the draft, at least draft 1 or 2 even in the later rounds.
As long as the current staff is in place, they may draft 1 LB and sign one low to mid tier FA LB.
Look for the same people next year.

Heck they may even over pay Hitchens. I am fine with Hitchens, but not for a huge price tag.
Smith needs not to be counted on for a starter, but as a player working his way to more playing time.
Lee, need to draft his replacement. Not saying get rid of Lee, but the need his replacement ready to play.

Wilber and Durant simply need to do, and this March-Llliard guy, well don't know enough other than he supposedly plays ST's well, so what the heck, give him a chance to earn a spot.

there 1 LB on the PS, what is wrong with this, Trey Johnson or whatever his first name is.

Yes we need to e LB heavy in FA and the draft, which means other positions will be neglected, again.
