Jacksonville showing interest in Hardy

they may after the first game of the season sign him then his contract wont be fully guaranteed.

The Jags are one the of few teams that could handle National scrutiny....... because there won't be any........no one cares about that team. They could literally sign Ray Rice, Greg Hardy and Joe Randle and it wouldn't make a blip in viewership, even at the local level. "It's the Jags, Dude!"

That is only because they have been in the dumps. Back when they had Brunell, Taylor, Smith and were making the playoffs they got a lot of play.

Looks like they are a team on the rise, also. Other than the Cowboys (of course), Jacksonville is the team I'm most intrigued to see this upcoming season.

That Jags defense would look pretty nice if they sign him along with that excellent offense they're putting together they will be a respectable opponent next season. Dark horse team.

You got that right. I had a rash of injuries last year in fantasy at the wide receiver position including Dez and I picked up Allen Hearns and Allen Robinson and they saved my season. Really good players.

He will be "Former Cowboys player Greg Hardy" to the media until the end of his days I'm afraid.

He could play for the Jags for 10 years, retire, then if he was caught raping a woman, the press would call him "former Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman."

To be in the "dumps" they've had to have been on a semi-recent "high". The reality is, they've only had one winning season in the past 10 years...in the weakest division of the league. They're not in the "dumps"....they're in the dumpster of the AFCS. Sure, they look on the "up" with Bortles/Robinson/Hurns + defense, but the fact remains that the casual (what have you done for me lately...if ever) NFL fan , outside of FL, doesn't give them any respect/thought.

Dumps simply means depressed. Depressed doesn't mean you've recently been happy; it just means you feel bad.

The Brunell team got plenty of national exposure and games. Message boards were filled with Jimmy Smith rueage and that offense was considered one of the league's best. McCardell and SMith were one of the league's best WR tandems. Boselli was regarded as the premier LT. Taylor and Stewart were excellent backs. Kevin Hardy a top LB. Tom Coughlin had the expansion team in the playoffs in their 3rd season it was huge news.

The NFL doesn't market their product like the NBA. They market success not size.

They still need like 2 years before they're a good team so I don't see the point in them signing hardy.

They got those two guys and signed Chris Ivory in free agency, they're going to compete this year.

The Jags are a team on the upswing maybe more so than any team in the league. You're going to be hearing a lot more about the Jags whether you like it or not (and Hardy or not).
