How do you guys feel about Coker as a NFL prospect and would you be ok with Dallas drafting him?

Very underrated as a prospect, imo.
Physically.
He's 6'5 , 232, and has a bigger arm than any of the top 3.
I just don't know enough about his intangibles--thought speed, leadership, moxy, etc

I agree with this and being that I'm an Alabama native and got the chance him play dring the season he has improved and has an opportunity to win a NC on Monday night earlier in the season he was a deer in the headlights type of a player that was forcing passes downfield getting them picked off but credit the Alabama coaching staff in particular Lane Kiffin for reigning him into the offense. As far as an NFL player he will have to clean some things up like pocket awareness, and he can stare down WRs and that can get him into trouble in the NFL if drafted by the right team he can flourish so for right now he would be a backup/.

It appears to me that he needs to be developed and will require intense coaching. He has benefited from blue chip talent around him. Dallas coaching staff will do him no favors. So no he would not work well here. Dallas will need a more polished QB in order to be successful. Just my opinion of course, so please no wagering.

Unless they replace Wilson at QB coach, yes very true, he would not develop here.

One of the reasons why I value football character so much with QB's. I want them to get a guy who will make it a point without outside motivation to become a starting caliber signal caller. Not only for the reason that I don't trust Wilson to develop a QB ( I don't, and that is a factor) , but also because you really want that leadership value. If you have seen Draft Day, I question why teammates didnt go to Conner Cooks " birthday party"

BTW, Im not trolling you lol

He has a lot bigger arm than I thought, hard to get a good judge of him though because of the Alabama offense. How many NFL throws was he making per game? Not many

I am sure Jason will get some good info from Saben about him. Hopefully he knows what is BS and what is really true. Coaches pump up their own guys.

I was watching Nkemdiche vs Alabama a few weeks ago and came away wondering why nobody was mentioning Coker. Came away very impressed. If I was putting money on which late round QB in this draft would have an NFL career as a starter, I'd put it on him.

I'd like to draft a guy well before he'll get drafted though.

The thing I like about Coker, and the only thing I like, is that the more Alabama opened up their offense, the better he looked. Which, I guess, is all the more reason to not want him here...

Undrafted free agent at best with Dallas....

I love Coker's heart but he's inconsistent delivering the football, especially the deep ball. Coker can make a great throw on a play and turn right back around and under throw a wr for an interception. It seems like he has a delayed throwing motion or take to long to get the ball out of his hands.

I don't think he trusts himself.

I can agree with that especially beginning of the year. As the season progressed, Coker seems more comfortable in the backfield. His biggest knock to me, is the long windup throws that gives defensive backs a chance to recover when a wr over has a step or two on them..

Coker has two games Monday and the Senior Bowl to really establish himself to NFL scouts. Measurements are there but the body of work isn't unfortunately

He reminds me of Kerry Collins a lot - similar size, similar strong arm, similar slow delivery.
