This guy should fly up draft boards and is a guy we could easily draft if we wanted to I’m sure..

The only thing I’m not seeing so far with this player is mobility but my gosh his arm talent is really incredible. I need to find out more about this player but so far he looks ridiculously good as a pro prospect.

He plays under center well and does a great job on play action passes.

Was high on Eason n Jordan Love coming into the season... didn't keep up with what they did, but sounds like 1st round is calling.

watch from 6:20

Yeah.. I guess I need to find out more because work ethic is huge for the QB position.. You have to be a relentless worker at that spot.

But when I watch his tape it’s just NFL throw after NFL throw. He’s making some difficult tight window throws that very few guys can make.

I want to know what his mobility is like because you don’t see much of it in these vids.

His mobility is the biggest question I have.

One thing I've noticed is that pocket-type young quarterbacks actually don't tend to do very well in the NFL these days. Josh Rosen has been a huge flameout, Baker Mayfield kind of sucks, Sam Darnold's OK, Jared Goff pretty much sucks, Dwayne Haskins sucks but to be fair it's the Commanders.... But on the flip side, mobile quarterbacks tend to translate very well.

-Kyler Murray played pretty well for a dumpster-fire offense.
-Deshaun Watson is a beast, even though he was criticized for only making half-field reads at Clemson.
-Patrick Mahomes seldom played inside structure at Tech; he just ran around and freelanced plays. He goes to the pros, gets some Andy Reid magic pixie dust sprinkled on him, and now he's unstoppable.
-Lamar Jackson is going to win MVP.

you get the idea. Heck, even Dak was a mobile college QB who's translated well.

With all the wide-open college spread concepts being introduced into the game today, I don't think it's as critical for a quarterback to sit back and dissect defenses, he just needs to run around until someone gets free. Mobility has been a trump card for all these good young quarterbacks.

So tbh, I am leaning into the skid and saying that I don't want an immobile QB unless he is a Peyton Manning-esque pocket assassin.
