Rogers is on our injured reserve list he was never released. I also doubt he would be much help right now since he is hurt and all.

Rogers was cut during the preseason (right after training camp) due to the fact that he opted to have season ending surgery instead of toughing it out. He's on IR because he cleared waivers and he was unable to agree to an injury settlement with the Cowboys.

My question is... what's his status after the season? Is he FA or is he still bound to his original contract?

The only contact Dallas should ever attempt to make with rogers is to slap him in the face for being a bust.

Rogers was a starter before he got hurt again. If he hadn't gotten hurt, we might be plugging in Petitti at left tackle this week for his first NFL start. (Unfortunately, he seems to get hurt easily.)
