From what I've seen this year, Jacobs can be sent to the bench early.

Twice this year, and the first time was in their first meeting, Jacob's got hit hard on his lower body and he quit.

When tacklers start going low on the big guy he loses his will to play. You can see him start hisitating to hit the hole. Then he starts running to not get hurt. He's soft and I bet you won't even see much of him sunday unless he's a good blocker.

Yep, it seems like he taps his hat to go to the bench at least once a series.

The 2-back system of him and Ward have been very effective though.

Yeah, against the bottom feeders, he runs pretty good.

And for that matter, despite an abysmal Oct, David Akers somehow won the ST(or whatever it was) player of the month.

In all honesty, I have more respect for the Giants than any of our remaining competitors. I'm not going to bag on them at all this week. They area worthy opponent and will be a great measuring stick as to where we truly stand in the grand scheme of the NFC. The only team as hot as the Giants in the NFC right now (besides us, of course) is the Saints.

I certainly don't fear them (hell we're the ones with the leg up), but for this week they have my respect.

The one dangerous aspect of this game is that it's a must win for the G-men, in order for them to even make a plausible threat for the division, and they know it. Us? We can lose this game and STILL win the division. I'm hopeful (and pretty confident) that the Boys won't take solace in that and have a let down type of game. But it's certainly a dynamic that will play into the type of game that's played. If the Boys go into NY and stomp the Giants, the confidence level is going to go through the roof, and there's a chance the Boys finish the season with one loss. I truly believe this game has that type of implication.

Anyone that thinks this game will be easy is not paying enough attention. This is going to be a physical game with a team that matches up well. We have traditionally had trouble with NY there. And NY matches up pretty well with us.

I'm not too worried about the NY running attack but I do have concerns. Ware can be had on the corner although he's lite years better. And teams can run up the middle on us. That's one reason we got Tank and I think he'll make a difference for us in this game.

This is another true test for the 2007 Dallas Cowboys.

We may win by our usual spread this year but I think we are going to win a tight contest.

Jacobs just needs to take a few nice shots from Hamlin early in the game..

he was injured against us.... injured does not mean soft.

If he's soft then I'm not sure what to think about Roy Williams, because Jacobs footprint is still on Roys chest from a previous meeting.

Tell jerome bettis that.. Enough said./. .

Bus isn't 6'4 and muscular. He is more of a bowling ball with amazingly quick feet for someone his size.
