Jacobs throwing the ball at the play clock

Is the league fining jacobs for that touchdown "celebration?" It's obvious that he intended to break the play clock, which is blatant vandalism. If TO threw a ball as hard as he could at a play clock it would be labeled as a prop and he'd probably get fined as well as a 15 yard penalty. And on top of it someone sitting in the endzone flipped the ball back to him. I was just wondering if that bothered you guys as much as it bothered me.:bang2:

you can celebrate -- you can't do so in a group or in a manner that appears planned (e.g.., you pull a sharpie out of your pocket)

he's a jerk but that isn't a penalty

Not really. I gave them everything they needed to find the thread. Why is that harsh?

Sorry I didn't know that the topic had already been started. Anyway... he did break one of the bulbs I think. JJ should send him the bill for a new one.

Now that would make me laugh. Something I have not done for almost 48 hours and running.

I gotta admit that was a creative ball spike. And the resounding noise it made was impressive.

It was a real in our face move. I tip my hat, he pawned us there. And we had no answer unfortunately.

Best ever ball toss EVER was the Drew Pearson throw into the crowd in Minnesota after the Catch. That was a defining spike for the ages.

I think it bothered you more than it bothered the players! Maybe Jones owes you a couple of dinars!

I just wonder what the NFL's reaction would have been had TO done that?

I wish we would have found out. Spiking a Football is not a penalty and thats not the first time players have targeted signs or the like.

I won't hold my breath on that one. I live a few minutes from the meadowlands so I had to hear it from every one of those idiots how he *** up our clock on top of the taunting for the loss

I think it would have been hilarious had the ball sailed high and hit someone in the face in the crowd. Fine/suspension/and possible chip on the shoulder for Dallas the rest of the game.

Or it could have been a Giants fan, that sounds better anyway.

I personally wished he would have broken the damn thing...Then he may have been penalized for interfering with the play of the game,or something. I was thinking he should have been anyway.

Lets be real, If MB3 did the same thing as we beat Giants in the playoffs in their house this would be mega cool.

Dude doinked our clock - time to move on.

Personally, I thought it was kinda sad. Jacobs supposedly spent all of last week coming up with a special celebration, and that was the best he could do?

Weak sauce, Brandon. ;)
