Round 2: Jacobs vs. Columbo

RB Brandon Jacobs had a rough game that apparently got a little worse after the final gun, when he was apparently shoved from behind by Cowboys RT Marc Columbo at some point during the postgame handshake.

Jacobs, who at first declined to talk to the media but later relented, didn’t seem to know why Columbo hit him, but he obviously wasn’t happy. “I better not see him anywhere,” an angry Jacobs said.

Asked what he would do if he did see Columbo, Jacobs said “I’m just going to let him know that it was a real disrespectful thing for him to do.”

......No doubt in my mind that Jacobs was trash talking and Colombo was simply shutting him up the way he knows how IMO.

......Enjoy the laugh at why Jacobs "better not see him anywhere" because of "what he'll do" - I'll bet Colombo is just shakin' in his boots. LOL

Shoved from behind?

I'm not sure you could be any more in front of someone.

Then again, Jacobs is an idiot and usually has things bass ackwards so what we see as face-to-face is probably seen by him as some sort of sneak attack from left field.

In this sense "pushed from behind" means "I was punked right at the 50 yard line and was too much a sissy to do anything about it".

I didn't see the incident in question, but on another board I read that callers to Metroplex radio talk shows said that Colombo was annoyed because at game's end, Jacobs ran out to midfield and "stomped on the star"...

If that happened (I have no idea if it did), then I can see a guy like Colombo retaliating with a shove when he got face to face with Jacobs... and if it happened, then ol' Brandon got what he deserved...

He should have been hiding in embarrassment, after all his pregame trash talk he was basically a nonfactor... the Giants won, but he didn't have a whole lot to do with it...

Big Marc in front and BIGG in the back. Jacobs definetly bit off more than he could chew.

This is worthy of a caption this.

BIGG: Hey Marc, take a bite and then throw him back here.
Marc: Yeah, dinner time.

I would say we could get them back by dancing on their logo but since they have to share their stadium they don't have a logo. :lmao2:

This is golden. Jacobs is such a lying coward.

Edit: Some one should send this this to the tool that wrote that Colombo pushed Jacobs from behind.

Colombo would jack him up. Jacobs is all bark, Colombo is all bite and apparently NFL players are already well aware of how nasty he is since he was voted one of the meanest players in the NFL.

Columbo did shove him from behind. Pretty good shove though, that picture is columbo telling jacobs to beat it after he started his tough guy act.

And this started for two reasons, 1. Jacobs went to the star and jumped on it. 2, during pregame warmup jacobs went down to the cowboys endzone and started boxing with the goal posts.

Jacobs is a trouble making rick with a p. He thinks he is bo jackson and he is nothing more than a role player on a team where the line makes the backs.

They will never tell the real story in ny, just that the cowboys are dirty players or whatever.

This photo is begging for a caption contest.

Jacobs looks like he's mad that Colombo just touched his weave.

If you speak with him be sure to tell him the full story about Jacobs in warmups, the star and talking junk over the last few years.

Even if he did push him from behind Jacobs acted like he didn't have a opportunity to respond and he clearly did.

Vacchiano is in the Giants' lockerroom frequently.

Trust me, he knows.
