Why is there not much talk about this guy. 6'4", 240 lbs, rocket arm decent to good accuracy, evidently strong leadership qualities brought about a noticeable upgrade to the NC State offense once he took over. Not the best QB prospect this year but definitely should be considered higher than I have seen him ranked. I can't help but see a young Steve McNair when i watch him. If we took him at the top of the second i for one would not be upset about it.

Needs a lot of work, but I agree he's going underrated as of right now. Big tough kid with an adequate arm and above average athleticism. The games I've watched of his he has the flaw of trying to do much instead of simply getting rid of the ball. Could lead to a lot of turnovers at the next level if not coached out. I'd probably say he at least belongs in the discussion as 4th best QB in this class along with Cook/Jones/Prescott....at least in my opinion. I'm sure plenty of people will disagree with that.

I'm in agreement with the consideration for 4th best QB in draft. But I think what you called a flaw is actually an strength. Romo has a little of this, an ability to escape pressure and throw accurately on the run. None the less that is a flaw that can be coached up. Love him for what we should be looking for, a player with all the tools and we that can afford to sit for a couple of years, but after the combine he is probably gonna elevate to the late first or early 2nd round.

I think he is a day 2 guy. I see him as a 3rd rounder, but he could definitely creep into the 2nd
