Jacoby Ford or Dexter McCluster ?

Both would be perfect in the slot and would make Dallas' O basically unstoppable, also both upgrades in ST. Question is who would you rather see with a star on there helmet.

I would take Jacoby because of special teams and upside. McCluster is a stud, but i am more than content with Crayton in the slot.

Ford offers more with special teams but I would be fine with either one.

Dexter McCluster, it aint even close just like what I said about Chris Johnson back in the day.

#1 isn't Dexter a running back?

#2 what's with all this talk about making him a slot wr?

#3 who really thinks we're gonna draft another running back?

He's a Percy Harvin type player. Vikings had AP and Chestor and still drafted Percy in the first.

He's a weapon.

At ole miss he's there every down rb but is to small to be considered a every down rb in the NFL so whoever drafts him will likely convert him to slot. Very capable at both. Like slate said he's a weapon

Maybe I'm a bias Clemson fan, but I want Jacoby Ford.

Chris Johnson wasn't 165lbs when he was drafted! :lmao2: (try 195lbs)

I like what McCluster shows, but at 165lbs, he doesn't have much value at the NFL level. If an NFL player looks at him funny he will go down. The question is, after gaining 30lbs, will he still have that same speed. It *IS* speed that gives him the separation.

He has at least a minimum of a year before he can actually contribute in the NFL, probably more like two or three. He has the gain the weight first, then learn to play with that weight.

I'm wondering why he hasn't done this yet. You'd think the past few years he'd have been thinking "hmm, I think I might be good enough to play at the NFL level, maybe I should start lifting heavier and eating more and gain the weight before I get out of college..."

Ford didnt have Knox/Wallace burst from what I saw.

Jacoby Ford. Speed to burn but has been a bit injury prone.

"Despite starting only 27 career games, Ford had seven touchdowns of 50-plus yards. Used as a receiver, running back, returner and even at quarterback, Ford posted 4,083 all-purpose yards on 297 touches -- averaging an eye-popping 13.75 yards per touch -- and 21 career touchdowns (15 receiving, two rushing, one throwing, two as a kick returner, one as a punt returner). Any questions about Ford's pure speed subsided when he won the 60-meter dash (6.52 seconds) in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in March 2009."

I agree, Jacoby Ford is very fast and explosive. And he's a Clemson Tiger! What city is Scranton close to btw? Never heard of that place.

Two miles north of Lake City and 15 miles south of Florence.

I'm a big Ford fan but I'm a bigger McCluster fan. Ford is the faster track guy but his speed does not translate as well to the field. Not saying he's still not fast but he's not pads fast. McCluster is scary quick and as fast in pads. He's a better return man and is more versatile.

Both will need to learn hot reads and the tree as well as running better routes. I think McCluster has a more upside first year. I doubt McCluster drops to the bottom of the third. I'd spend a second on him but that would be a risky pick due to injury concerns.

Oh I gotcha, I'm down here in Myrtle Beach. Got family all over the state though.
