I'd love to get this guy in the 3rd or 4th rounds, especially if Barber leaves.

The next MJD. He could be a 3rd down back here for the first couple years.

FWIW, I think this guy is better then LaMichael James. If anyone would like to call me out on it, I'll explain why.

But this guys a balllller !!!! Come to Dallas!!

Thoughts?

Yeah, he's nothing like MJD to be perfectly honest.

If a guy like Danny Woodhead can find a home (Patriots) and actually be productive, I don't see why Rodgers couldn't be given a shot in the right system.

There is no way in the world I'd spend a 3rd or 4th rounder on him though. I don't even think he has exceptional speed or quickness, at least compared to what he'll see in the pros.

If you want to go mighty mouse route, I would bet on Noel Devine making a bigger impact than Rodgers.

He is good and he can take a hit. Having a hard time since O State suspended his brother. Teams are stacking the box and just keying on the run. Happy he did not kill my Bruins this year.

Exactly... And he's still producing. He's that whole offense, especially without the big play receiver. Teams are playing run and he's not missing a beat. It's sick what he did against USC

Same stature, they both hit the whole HARD, both very good receiving options out of the backfield, and jacquizz has the potential to be a 3 down back one day... He's the complete package. Noel Devine is good, but I like this guy better. Teams are playing playing run and stacking the box and he's still putting up sick numbers.

1st of all, MBIII is definitely gone($$$), 2nd we are gonna need a bigger back than that munchkin to replace Barber.

We already have Felix and Choice.

If by stature you mean height, yes, they are the same height. However, MJD is nearly 20 lbs heavier (208-210 lbs) than this kid and it's all in his legs which are like tree trunks. Not to be off-color, but MJD is built like a giant midget.

MJD also had excellent timed speed (4.39 @ the combine). It wouldn't surprise me one bit if Rodgers ran something in the mid 4.5s.

Now before anyone starts in with the obligatory rant on forty-yard dashes, all I'm saying is MJD has another dimension that I don't see in Rodgers.

If you like the guy so be it, but you asked for an opinion and I gave one.

I have been on this bandwagon for the entire season. I want him for 3rd downs and Special Teams returns. Kid is electric.

During the USC debacle they put up a graphic showing he had ZERO career fumbles, Is that correct? if so, very impressive.

I like him a great deal.

I also like Noel Divine. Problem with Divine is he has had injury issues this year.

If you like the mold of those guys, powerful, quick shifty guys...there is another guy at WVU that might be had in the late round or even possibly as an undrafted Rook. Jock Sanders. He plays WR but really is a RB playing WR. Well actually he does play some at RB depending on things. Very strong guy for his size, shifty and speedy. Love the kid but I see no way they would draft him as a WR because they like size here. But he could be a good 3rd down back for a low round pick or as an UDFA.

Again I like Quiz and Noel better...but he might be someone to bring into camp if he goes undrafted.

Yeah, and notice he held on to the ball when Riley put on that monstrous hit. Riley is going to be special as well. So glad we stole that kid from you!

yeah thats correct, according to the stat sheet. But I remember watching a game his sophomore year where he caught a ball out of the backfield, and got stripped like 20 yards down field. The refs ruled that his knee was down but it clearly wasn't, and there was no challenge. So in reality he has one in 3 years.

I'm a big Dietrich Riley fan. Will be a great safety for you guys.

heads up. Jacquizz is playing vs Stanford right now.

I expect him to let Stanford up.

Didn't exactly light it up with 76 yards tonight.

75 yards against a good rush defense when there constantly playing 8-9 in the box because you have no other threats is actually very good buddy.

Not to mention his 4.5 YPC in the game.

He's better then LaMichael James. I'll tell you that much.

Lol, he is not better than LaMichael James.

The Cardinals weren't stacking the box the second half either as Oregon St. was way behind and was throwing the ball. Rodgers ran the ball just eight times the second half.

4.5 YPC? This is college football man, LaMichael James is averaging 6.3 YPC this entire season (6.7 last year!).

BTW, LaMichael James ran for 257 yards and 3 TDs against the same Stanford defense this season.

Yeah because munchkins like Chris Johnson can't play.

Oh wait.

This is where we disagree. I'd do bad things to add LaMichael James as a compliment to Felix.
