rogers played at lamar consolidated here in southeast texas in our district...he led them to a state championship.


i never got to see him run personally, but he was all everything down in these parts..everyone and their dog recruited him but he went to oregon state because they gave his older brother a scholarship when others would not.

I was there at that championship game as a fan of the other team. He was and is an amazing talent. We had him in check that day until the second half. I even think that him playing both ways was almost as impressive as his running. They worked his tail off and he was still out there at FS.
