Update: conflicting reports - some are saying he ran this at the combine, but its apparently what he's been running in pre-combine workouts. Defensive linemen don't work out until Monday, so my spider senses tell me that it's the latter.

He hasn't run, but OT Greg Robinson (332 pounds) ran a 4.84 40.

Wow. That's unreal.

DeMarcus Ware ran a 4.56 at 251 lbs. Clowney is a full tenth of a second faster and 15 lbs heavier.

The clowns in Houston should draft him,a dominant defense will win you a lot of games.

I'm guessing he runs officially a 4.63 or so, all these pre-hyped up guys never fulfill their hype, except Calvin, Chris Johnson and Vernon Davis.

Clowney was already going very early or even 1st overall. I'm not sure this changes what we already knew.
If a team wants a QB the he still may not go 1st. I think he's way better value than any QB available this year. No Andrew Lucks in 2014
