Jags fan message board says MLB Peterson doubtful for season opener

Now this was ONLY a poster on the Jags official message board, but he seems to be talking that he got the info from some show they must have in their area that covers the team.




During the "JTW Extra" on the pre-game show last night, Lageman mentioned that Peterson will probably be listed as "Doubtful" for the Dallas game as his knee has not rehabed as quickly as they thought it would.

He feels the opening day line-up will be Greisen at OLB, Smith in the middle, and Thomas/Cordova at the other outside spot.

Well I know Del Rio and Peterson were both talking brave that he would be ready. this is the first I've seen since when he was injured that reinforces that he probably won't play.
That's a significant loss for them. I believe he led them in tackles last season.

It is funny that when the other team have players not playing and the Cowboys beat them everyone makes excuses saying that they didn't have their best players. You don't hear the same excuses when the Cowboys have players injured and lose games.

Think its is funny that Del Rio's talking to get people to think Peterson will play and Parcells is talking to get people to think Flozell WON'T play.

Jaguars LB Mike Peterson (knee) is expected to be ready for Week 1.

Peterson sprained his MCL in the team's third preseason game. The middle linebacker should remain a top IDP this season.
