Jags making a push for Murray?

Agreed. this is his last big contract chance. don't blame him one bit if he goes and get's his money else where. Cowboys have no one to blame but themselves.

Blame for not overpaying a RB who just played his first full season in his entire career. Where I'm from that's called credibility. I'm all for bringing back DM. I'm not a fan of fiscal stupidity.

This is the reality of free agency. All it takes is one team to make that huge offer. It's up to the Cowboys to decide whether to match or not. I would not fault Murray one bit if he chose to leave for the highest bidder. He like any NFL player deserves to seek the most lucrative contract available. This is probably his only shot at getting a contract as a highly rated free agent.

PERFECT!!! Talk about putting a band aid on a gaping head wound. There are RB's GALORE in this draft with so much more tread left on their tires than Murray. If they off him a boat load of money it's a complete failure to understand just what the BLANK they are doing. If he goes, it's pretty short sighted on his part because he's going to get abused behind that line. That said: wouldn't shock me.

DM go get your money... In 3 years get cut... Then retire as a Cowboy..

If he leaves dallas for jax, he will become a complete afterthought. He doesn't have long highlight runs that will be on sportscenter. He will struggle to eclipse 1,000 yards. Would kill his brand. Want to stay relevant? Stay in dallas or go to another contender. NOT JAX.

Murray to the Jags? um, not so much....if it is true then perhaps we won't be seeing him pal around with Tony and red so much (see: recent duke game)

These guys are friends, but professional athletes realize that sports is a business. Money talks.

They all choose the larger contracts over friendships and hometown discounts. All they care about is the money

No clue if he signs with the Jags or not but...#9, Witt and Red have all had long careers in the League thus know the business of the League. I say that to say, you'd be surprised how much ex-teammates stay in touch and hangout together.

Not even sure why Jacksonville would do it. Denard looked good last year before getting hurt and they got a sea of issues. A RB isn't putting them over the top.

Let the Jags have him. He will get less than 1000 yards and less than 5 wins. Have fun Demarco

Put butts in seats mostly.

Question: So if we lose Murray, are we up for a compensatory draft pick next year (2016), and if so, how high?

That's a valid point.

They have huge issues everywhere and to commit say $40 mil to a guy at a position they aren't horrible at seems stooped.

OL, DL, WR, TE... All very bad.
