Dennis Northcutt is day-to-day after suffering a strained back on Sunday.

Northcutt should be fine for the start of the season, but the Jaguars receiving corps is extremely banged up. Jerry Porter will miss camp, Reggie Williams is sidelined and Mike Walker is limited to one practice a day. Not coincidentally, coach Jack Del Rio wouldn't rule out auditioning Terry Glenn.

Wow! Jags have been crushed with injuries. I don't think that I have seen a team at one position with so many injuries. Some had them winning their division.

Only one problem, if you bring him to camp and he gets hurt you are on the hook for his whole salary. Glenn will most likely get picked up by someone after the first game of the season for an incentive-laden vet min contract. I doubt if Glenn sniffs a training camp this year.

I believe that's correct. I believe that was part of the issue with why they went ahead and let him go, rather than continue with trying to get a deal done, was because it was noted, in a couple of articles, that people at Camp said he was no where near ready to even think about getting on the field to practice.

Now rather that was the knee, or conditioning, I don't know.
