Jags TD celebration--shouldn't players check the scoreboard before dancing?

The whole coordinated-dance touchdown celebration thing is already pretty annoying, but I couldn't believe Dede Westbrook calling his teammates over to strut around after their first successful series of the whole day came halfway through the third quarter, and made the score still a three-score deficit.

I get being happy that things might be turning around, but those didn't look like players determined to turn the tide--it looked like players happy with their individual highlight glory in the midst of a bad loss. Showing satisfaction there in that context seemed really inappropriate.

(Does it go in the Rant Zone if I'm ranting about the other team? :) )

I actually liked their dance moves

Real funky fresh leg movement

It was stupid to me..it isn't like they pulled within one touchdown either.
I just rewatched it and I do quite like the dance tbh lmao

No because the NFL is in the entertainment business. Its entertaining For Jags fans and also for Cowboys fans who complain about the celebration

A little off topic but doesn't deserve its own thread; Did anyone see their #91 get into it a few times with our guys? At one point it appeared he was pointing and the scoreboard saying something?

Anyone know what that was about?

I saw that. It was after a field goal. Maybe the last one? I was also wondering if anyone ever found out why Looney got so heated at one point.

As for the celebration, I thought the same exact thing. It looked like something they rehearsed during the week and decided to do together but didn't include a kill in case of butt kicking option.

I don't mind. Yea, they are losing, but doesn't mean players can't have some fun.
Thought Jacksonville should of gone for 2 afterwards.

All players throughout the league know what their game's scoreboard reflects. More than a few could not care less. Me Entertainment has never been so prevalent in professional sports. Vince McMahan is proud.

If I wanted to watch dancing I would turn the channel. All NFL celebrations are stupid. Act like you have been there before!

Come on, be in the moment, its easy to sit on teh side lines.

They easily scored, they went right down teh field, they were motivating their guys. Its not like they OR anyone expected Dallas to score 40 on their D. What is so wrong with this? OOO after the fact we re talking smack about guys who are playing the game. Its not like Dallas is known for a stout defense.

Dallas played one if its best games in a long long long time, no one expected that, not even OUR coaches. Well maybe Richard. but thats it.

Personally don't care. That's old people concerns to me.

Just shows how stupid and self centered some of these players are. Its why the league banned TD celebrations previously. Because you give some of these guys a inch and they take a mile. NO common sense.

Yeah, I mentioned it in the game thread. Just shows a me first mentality in my mind. I cannot stand it. I am all for it WHEN YOU ARE WINNING, if you aren't act like you have been there and go back to work.

Kinda like us doing the Conner M dance? This guy is mostly all PR and hasn't done anything recently. Kinda like us!!!! I was annoyed that Jerry brought him anywhere near the stadium. Jerry just wants to make money and doesn't really care about solid football. It was like the scene in Rocky III before the first fight with Clubber.

Congrats, you pulled within 3 scores. How bout just hand the ball to the ref and head back to the sideline

OU fan here.

DeDe Westbrook makes Dez Bryant look like Albert Einstein.
