Broke down Texas CB JahDae Barron who is slowly climbing up my draft boards. Similar to Brian Branch he can lock down the middle of the field, is great at recognizing combination routes for 2/3 stacked WR and to end it off he is a hard hitter.

Questions about his ability to be elite on the outside are valid, but in this film you will see he can maintain his own out there on an island. Best played at nickle - he will thrive at the LOS, against TE and will be an ELITE slot corner for years to come. If you want a sure thing - this is a nickel DEMON.

Some of the draft show dudes said they would take him at 12 if we get wiped at other positions

I can agree with that but you have to understand he will not play elite outside, so are you ok with having him play nickel and using that value for a slot corner? In a pinch he definetly can but I would not want to use him that way going forward.

Heard he has short arms which will make him more of an inside player on the next level. 12 is no too rich for a nickel corner for me.
This is true - and I think tomorrow during testing he will drop and people will have Will Johnson over him depending on the 40 time. We may have some options now due to testing rumor's coming out this week.

Don't get me wrong, he is a good prospect, but limited which is why he shouldn't be considered that high.

I'm a fan. thanks for the breakdowns.

Will Johnson to me is overrated. Barron seems more versatile, physical and has a lot of leadership to him. Has wonderful instincts.

one of my top trade down candidates,it wouldnt surprise me if a CB desperate team takes him ahead of Will Johnson.
