A league source tells Lions beat reporter Tom Kowalski that recent reports suggesting Jahvid Best's 2009 concussion is a lingering concern are likely no more than pre-draft misinformation.
"You can't believe a word of it," the source said. "Anybody who says anything negative about a player is a guy who wants that player to slide because they want to draft him. If you don't like a player or really think he has some issues, you talk him up." This all makes sense, but there's no getting around the fact that Best is perhaps this draft's most injury-prone player.
