Yeah I guess...that team was really just so much better last year. I don't know why those horses only got 14 carries, but that's for them to bellyache over ...I sorta think Delhomme can dig himself out of this and get back to being more steady, but a new QB may just be a must going into next season.

The Saints are going to run away with that division, Atlanta will be competitive but not catch new Orleans.

I foresee 13-3 or 12-4 for the Saints and 11-5 for the Falcons.

Carolina is wounded and one more loss and they're done, they may recover well enough late to limp to 8-8 or 9-7 but they are too behind to catch up in the division unless Matt Ryan and Drew Brees get hurt.

Dallas should be 3-0 and knows it, last week's loss may end up costing them the division crown unfortunately.

Carolina looks like they've got a lot more issues then just Jake, though he's a major one. Their run defense is very poor, and not just against us, and they've just not been letting themselves get killed by big plays, especially by big plays by the other teams defense.

Most any other QB would be roasted by the media if they did what Delhomme did. He throws a pick 6 and then he immediately puts his arms in the air and starts running around blaming his receiver. Sure it was Smiths fault, but most QBs don't call out their receivers as blatantly and as whiney as Delhomme did last night.

Delhomme's days as a starting QB are numbered. He can't take care of the ball and that team is going down big time because of it. I predicted 4-12 for them and it's looking good so far

Jake is getting old if he is not already old. Big salary makes him vulnerable to getting cut. But he is not their only problem and the int that Tnew returned for 6 was not his fault.

I think both he and Fox will be gone after this year.

BTW, Romo has always reminded me more of Jake than any other QB in the league.

The problem with that huge salary is that he was just given that extention this offseason meaning the team would have to eat one heck of a chunk to cut him now. They might have signed themselves to be stuck with that horse for a couple years.

I saw him shaking his head but I missed all the running around with his hands in the air. He also didn't blame Smith in the post game presser.
