Two years ago I saw this kid play and he looked all-world. Big guy, VERY athletic, threw the football great. I thought, then, that he would be a #1 overall kind of guy.

Saw him a couple of weeks ago and he looked slow to me.

Can anyone who watches him more regularly tell me if he has regressed, or the little bit of the game I saw this year was an aberration?

Locker would be great. Or I would take the Stanford QB Luck. You could build around either of these guys.

I also think Dallas should go hire HC Jim Harbaugh of Stanford. He has proven he can turn a program around. He is young and energetic.

Have you seen Locker this year? Again, the little bit of the game I saw this year he didn't look as good. Have you seen him play quite a bit?

SMH @ this thread.

Romo is out for 6-8 weeks, he didn't die.

I didn't say I wanted us to draft Locker, though (as someone said in another thread), if he or Luck is an Aikman/Elway type I'd take him. I was just asking about the player. I don't watch a lot of Washington Huskies football.

Yes, he has been injured and sick but trying to play through it. The coaching is not the best, and the offense is average at best....defense sucks (and I can't state that strong enough).

Hey competition breeds success...

Anyways, I believe this thread is more about Locker's potential in the NFL.

Yep. I wasn't saying let's draft him, I was saying "I saw a kid a thought was great two years ago, then saw him again and he didn't look as great" (but I only saw a quarter or so of that game). Was more curious than anything.

He's been up and down this season. There was a lot of hype around this kid. He can struggle at times with accuracy and consistancy. He intrigues a lot of people because he's athletic and has a good arm. His game managment is another question mark. He reminds me a bit of Luke McKnown and Trent Edwards.

He's a bit of a risk if you ask me. In fact, by the time the draft rolls around, it wouldn't surprise me if he's considered a 2nd round prospect.

All in all, I prefer Andrew Luck over Locker.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind too too much if we pick him up in the 2nd round. Much better to invest in a QB there and have him sit for two or three years than spend $40+ million on a No. 1-2 overall pick at QB.

I saw him up close and personal at the USC/Washington game and he looked damn fast to me.

I've seen a few games from each and I'd go with Luck at this point. Especially when he laid the wood to a defensive back on a fumble return in a game a few weeks ago.

Yea I don't know what this is all about. I feel Romo has atleast 5 years left at playing at a high level if not more and if you feel that way there is no way you draft a qb until you see him in the 4th round. Now if a guy falls to you in the 2nd round that's a top 15 pick? Go for it. But no way should this team look at quarterback.;

I'm willing to tank this season. But don't make your 1st rounder a QB. Trade down if you must.
