Jake Plummer, age 34, ex-NFL QB, has taken a job as the QB coach at the local Sandpoint High School in Idaho.

Whats that old saying, "Those that can't "do" teach?

Sorry, it's a low blow, but I couldn't resist taking a swing at this. I haven't liked the guy since Bill Walsh called him "the next Joe Montana". That was the beginning of the end for me and Plummer.

Jake Plummer's a pretty cool dude. Good college player, decent pro. Walked out on the game on his own terms to play competitive handball when he'd made enough money and stopped having fun. I think he'd have had a very different career if he'd started in a WCO.

I "met" him once in Mesa, Arizona and didn't think he was a cool dude at all. He took a date to Denny's and was telling her how amazing he was and how shocked he was that people were not clamoring for his autograph. I told him, "it's because you suck."
