although he's an iffy QB, when he has a running game, he can look very, good throwing on bootlegs and playaction, it's fooling the hell out of INdy, and making their pass-rush look pretty pedestrian right now

that's what Romo needs to be effective, he needs the line opening up holes for Julius, and Julius regaining his form from the 1st 5 weeks, so he can get out there and throw passes better suited for him, and it will also definitely help keep defenders off of him, cuz we saw on MNF, that no matter how mobile Romo is, if he's sitting in the pocket behind this line against a very, good pass-rushing team, he's either going to get sacked before he even has a chance, or he's going to run into one

Denver only has 118 rush yards, but that isn't nearly indicative as to how good their run game is playing today. It's really the reason Plummer actually looks like a decent QB.

If our offense worked this way, we'd be rolling.

Put the pressure on Plummer and he folds like a cheap umbrella.

yeah, that stat is misleading since the Bells are seemingly gaining chunks of yards on every play, just look at the Indy defenders, this late in the game, and they're getting drawn in by the run, and leaving receivers open short, that's showing how effective the ground game has been

I can only think of 2 QBs who won't under that circumstance

the point is, QBs like Plummer, Romo, impulse players, need to be on the run to be effective, esp. now for Romo behind this line, although I think Romo is a little more heady under duress than PLummer

I think Romo is a better passer than Plummer, even without much experience.

Denver left too much time on the clock. Indy is gonna come back.

I think in the long run he will prove to be, but if he is now, it's very minimal
