Goal posts have moved. Ints don’t matter as long as you win the game

Well, that's what generally happens to running QBs when opposing D's figure out they just have to hem them in and make them pass. Most aren't great passers.

I expect to get screwed on one big call at least.

One other thing to note, if there is a questionable catch or fumble and the Eagles hurry to the line, burn the timeout McCarthy and review it. Eagles have gotten away with a few non catches, etc. and they are really good at knowing and running a play before teams can challenge. Happened yesterday in a big spot. 4th and 4 from the Commanders 45 and Hurts threw a ball to Smith that wasn't a catch for a first down. They quickly ran a play before Rivera could get confirmation it was a drop. Turned out to be a huge moment as the eagles then tied the game 17-17 when in fact it would have been 17-10 and the Commanders would have had the ball in really nice field position.
Rivera maybe one of the few coaches as dumb as our Freddy Flintstone.

Bland needs to be sure he doesn't get full of himself, and start taking chances to get the picks. Then give up a big play, or a critical 1st down.

I do not see him as that type of player. Seems pretty well grounded.

I love how he baits the QB, and lays back just enough to make them throw it his way. Then he is in good position to get a pick, or simply defend it for an incompletion.
He gets picks by being aggressive and jumping routes. Like Diggs, he's susceptible to double moves. Keenan Allen roasted him over and over again with them.

Part of interceptions is taking chances.

8 INTs is only good for a tie with 4 or 5 other QBs for the league lead.. Hurts, Allen, Mahomes all have 8. But as we've noted, nobody cares about how many INTs QBs not named Dak Prescott throw.

He has the best WR in football, otherwise he'd have more. His excuse for now is that he has bad knees, and can't use his legs as much so he is passing more. With this possibly being true, this matchup should be right up our alley
I keep waiting (or maybe wishful thinking) that Hurts comes back down to Earth and it is quietly happening this year.

AJ Brown does look unplayable at times and is bailing Hurts out with circus catches rather than great QB play......reminds me of Stafford and Megatron.

I still think there's regression to come from Hurts. Maybe I'm being naive but maybe not.

He has too many INT but when he's not throwing an INT he's usually scoring. That makes a big difference than when you see a QB throw say 2 INTs and score 0 TDs like Patrick Mahomes happened to do yesterday then your team is probably going to lose. Eagles are 7-1. Winning heals all wounds.

Hopefully next week we can have another game like we just did where we get a couple of INTs off Hurts and things go wrong for them in other areas and we can get a W.
