Swap 2025 1st, get a 2026 1st, they have no 2nd this year, so would you give them our 2nd, but we also get the 3rd and 5th or 4th and 5th. or a 3rd and 4th in 2025.
Not sure what the points swap is.
But if we can get a 2026 1st, and 2 other picks in 2025, at least a 4th. Would one do this.
Premium is getting another 1st rounder for them getting a possible franchise QB.

My reasoning is since no one expects us to do anything special this year. Get that extra 1st next year. Take a future franchise QB.

My Steelers fan friend would be livid if they gave up Pickens. I would love it, if he comes to Dallas.

They didn't think so with many of the kids that cameras were trained on as the 1st round crept to an end without their name being called.

I am surprised that he has started to rise up boards this rapidly. I figured he would be a late 2nd or 3rd round guy.

No incentive for Pittsburgh to give up next years 1st. They know there’s no way we’re taking him and the next team down the line will make the deal.
The bread basket of this draft runs from the late teens, through the 2nd and I guarantee Jerry “ain’t” conceding they’re not doing anything this year.
This is the first year of Dak’s massive extension 4 yr extension… they’re not going to begin actively looking for the next QB until at least 2028. People really need to resign themselves to that reality of the really real world!
