Jalen Ramsey Trolls Cowboys on Twitter

I was all about Ramsey leading to the draft. Cowboys needed a shutdown corner or a huge playmaking corner, and he was being hyped as the best corner to come out in awhile. A couple weeks before the draft though, it started coming out that some GMs didn't see him as a corner, that he was more of a safety. That worried me, and after looking back at his tape, I sadly agreed. He was getting beat by quick route running routinely, he just didn't have the feet/hips to keep up with those kind of plays. He is still a great player, he reminds me a lot of Malcolm Jenkins, the safety for the Eagles. He started at corner for his first couple of years, but they switched him to safety when they realized he was more of a playmaker from that slot. I think Dallas would have drafted a true top 5 caliber corner or defensive end over Zeke, but there wasn't one in the draft.

Funny how they all take it personally when we don't draft 'em -- maybe we're kinda relevant after all . . .

Everyone wants to be a Dallas Cowboy. Just look at the jersey sales, who wouldn't want in on that?

And he could have done what besides watching from the sidelines?

He was out. So was Elliott.

Until there is a point of comparison, he is probably better off keeping his hurt feelings to himself.

Oh I'm not saying he was right with the tweet. I was just replying to someone who asked if he meant a specific play or in general. Personally him making a comment like that just shows how bitter he is. He sounds like an ex who keeps saying "you could have had me!" Lmao.

Curious to see how the latent Jalen Ramsey fan club around here views this.

Chime in, fellas.

I fail to see anything wrong with what he said. No doubt Dez Bryant has said much dumber tweets or "classless" tweets then this. Guys use being passed up as motivation all the time. Why should he be any different?

Can't blame him he did end up in Jacksonville. Glade we didn't draft the idiot.

I responded and said, "You're right. They did pass on you to draft a better player".
