Not a bad signing but not really going to help them. One of the many teams on the schedule for Dallas that has a weak offense.

Base salary of $1 million. I cannot believe the Giants weren't able to grab him or didn't try. They are racing time with Manning and should of took the cheap flier. Paul Perkins, IMO, is a change of pace back. Perhaps a combination of Perkins/Blount is very fitting, but Jamaal had a year off and is lethal at both run/pass in a system where Manning's favorite end read is a dumpoff.

Charles is 30 years old and has played in like 8 games in the past two seasons. There's good reason to believe he's going to do a whole lot of nothing this year.

I always admired Charles and had hoped the Cowboys would draft in 2008. Denver takes him..but Jamaal, sadly, is very close to the end.
