The Denver Post doesn't believe it's a "lock" that the Broncos will pursue Jamal Lewis this offseason.

Lewis, who is all but certain to be cut by the spring, has drawn interest from Denver in the past. It sounds like the Ravens will look elsewhere rather than re-sign Lewis at a cheaper price once he's released.

Lewis? Dallas doesn't need no stinking Lewis, an O-line improvement would be nice however.

I would love to see us get Jamal Lewis. Especially if we improve the offensive line. Although I wouldn't want to see us pay top dollar for him, and I'm sure there are teams out there in need of a starting running back that would pay a lot.

i would like to see him implemented in our offense, where he simply didn't need to run 300+ times a year. I think this would prolong his career. How he would fit between Barber and Jones, I really couldn't figure. But I would say if the price was right, definitely go after him. Especially when the future isn't a sure thing for Jones.

Lewis would probably do well in a system like the Broncos. It would take alot of pressure off Cutler. Not our kind of player though.

Washed up. They should've kept Chester Taylor- they would probably be in the Super Bowl this week- Lewis couldn't get out of his own way.

I guess I wouldn't mind him as a backup, but really he's barrelling toward the skill level that we saw from Eddie George a couple of seasons ago.

Lewis is an olineman. He just lines up in the backfield. :laugh2:
