I would happy with a 0 win season.

I would run to the podium and draft Will Anderson from Alabama.
With some of our fans here, it actually would be pretty entertaining to see how bad we can possibly play, lol

Diggs and the Cowboys get embarrassed, people stop going to games, people stop buying merch, 0-17 season, Jerry decides he needs to hire a GM.... I can dream right?

Probably fair at this point. DIGGS is a big play cornerback. He takes risks. He undercuts routes and goes for picks. It’s just who he is. It’s his style.

It’s not a bad thing. It’s just a different type of corner than a guy who tries to just stay in the back pocket of the WR all day.
Yet, if true, and if he actually wants to be great, he needs to start working on his technique. It actually doesn’t have to be one or the other, and in year three, his technique should be showing marked improvement, right?

Quinn has built that into the scheme.

You'll rarely see Diggs undercut routes when he has no help. Last season the help defender was in place on most plays (usually Kazee) but Kazee just didn't make the play when the ball arrived.

If you see a CB undercut with no help defender in sight, then it's probably freelancing.

Diggs is very good at understanding the scheme and knowing when/where the help defenders should be located.

They often play CB Brown in over coverage because he often does not have deep help. i.e. Brown stays deeper than the WR.

The FS often helps in the area between the Nickel CB and Diggs. Quinn does that for more opportunities to get INTs. Much of the credit for Diggs INTs last season should be shared by CB Brown because his play allows Diggs to get more FS help and therefore more opportunities to undercut routes.

I'm not certain that Ja'marr Chase really understands the Cowboys scheme if he think Diggs lacks technique. It's definite different technique than normal but Diggs does play with good technique. Diggs is not a burner. Technique and playing within the scheme is what allows him to succeed.

Who else in the secondary will show up? Brown needs a good game, been awhile since Lewis did and I remember Donovan Wilson popping players a lot more in the past. Where'd that go?

Seen this movie before.

Opposing team gloats to the media and down plays our guys, then the same guys barely show up on Sunday.

Selling out for Chase in FanDuel this week lol.
Yeah I mean I won't doubt that he has a great game but i've really seen this story before. Seems like when players say stuff like this they choke. I can't remember who the last guy was but he had a horrible game. I feel like a Giant did this.

I agree and that’s a fair assessment.

It’s also I think overall a good thing. Quinn’s scheme places a premium on putting guys in a position to force turnovers. They will occasionally give up plays. But I think it’s the right approach. Turnovers are so vital to winning games.

Brandon Jacobs used to torch these guys the week before. Then game day, he'd show us why. It's sickening.
