Jameis Winston to Giants

I knew my post would get someone riled up, so thanks for not letting me down.

By the way, I'm surprised you didn't throw out the '2nd in MVP voting' nonsense. But you can't say that without also acknowledging that JW was the #1 overall QB a few years back.

Truth be told, I don't want either one of them playing for Dallas. But with Dak coming off major injuries yet again and his mobility all but a thing of the past, I would take JW over him in a blink, even with all his INT's. Loyalty to Dak isn't going to get you anything.

Throw all the flashy stats you want out there, but you have to look at who is best for you RIGHT NOW, and that absolutely isn't Dak.
you mean #1 pick in the draft? very meaningless

It's official now, Cowboys can expect to finish DEAD LAST in the Eastern Division and with the top voter getter with who has the worse GM in the league, the Cowboys could actually try to tank in 2025 to have a shot at Arch Manning and no could accuse them of tanking since the Boys had a horrible season last year and GM who hasn't be relevant since he bought the team back in 89'.

He throws a lot of picks but has the arm strength to get it downfield to Nabers and Slayton especially in that open aired stadium's windy winter months.

They will probably take Shadeur Sanders at #3 or even offer a bundle to move up to #2 to take Sanders as Winston will serve as the bridge QB this year.
Sanders may or may not start before the season is over.

My opinion.
I'm not sure it's Sanders.........both coach and GM are fighting for their jobs ( they were almost fired ). Remember they went hard after Stafford and even Rogers. This doesn't happen if you are in love with the blue chip QB prospect you can draft. The fact the settled on signing Winston IMO means they will trade up with Titans and take Ward OR trade down and draft Dart.

Mara doesn't strike me as the kind owner willing to deal with drama attached to Sanders, especially if he's left holding the bag after firing coach and GM.

Nope. In 2019 JW finished as the #1 passer overall. And yes, it was every bit as meaningless as Dak's '2nd in MVP voting' garbage since JW also lead the league with 30 INT's.

Like I said, I don't want either one playing for the Cowboys, but if you have to make a pick right now............

oh ok, when he threw for the most yards yet he was 16th in qbr, THAT year

Dak is considerably better than Winston, even if he is not championship caliber

Love Jameis. Not as a player, of course. I just think his personality is great for the sport.

Damn. Do I like the Giants more than the Cowboys now?

Yeah, Im basing my assumption off that same desperation of the GM and HC to keep their jobs.
Schoen tried hard in offering a picks package to the Pats to give up Maye last year. But the Pats held firm.
And also from what Ive read on several Giants sites about there being an active Giants presence at every single Colorado game last year.
So just an educated guess but a fair one imo because I think Tennessee sticks with Ward but Cle may be a wildcard and go with Sanders and NYG may see Dart as an overdraft at number 3.
And they don't want another Daniel Jones scenario.
So I'm thinking either sticking at#3 for Sanders or moving to #2 with a picks pkg offer based off Cleveland.
