Wooah why is anyone calling a guy a bust after 1 game?

I have to wonder where washington's head is right now too. He watched as the entire team, players, coaches, ownership all fawned over OBJ while not letting him off IR. Did that public display of affection for a guy who isn't on the team mess with his head a bit? Probably thought his time might never come on the field for the Cowboys. Lets see how he progresses over the next few weeks, can't be worse than tolbert or fehoko at this point.

Its his first game back, or is this overreaction Monday

Loso86----the tip is for good reason....Dak has very bad habit of throwing ball way too hard short area or his bearing is off and is either too far right or left or up and down too....Dak has been doing this

since coming into league....many times our good receivers can withstand and make catch or leap or grab behind.....not all the time.....but Dak has so greatly improved his footwork and throwing motion

and field awareness since 2017....but if he does not focus or a lineman hits his arms ball is squirrely

I don’t want to hear a single word about we got players in-house that we like and they don’t show up.

Washington, Lamb, & Brown are all clones of each other always dropping catches or tipping balls for interceptions. I don’t want to hear that CD is a number one guy when he can’t get open unless he is motioned. Go get OBJ.
He’s played one game lol

Tolbert is equally a bust. Everyone was calling him a steal he only stealing was Tolbert. Great pick up in Hilton however. I would cut Washington and Tolbert immedietly and add ol depth

i have always loved TY Hilton---good job Cowboys....we have far and away good enough receiving corps.....they know OBJ cannot help them this season and i love the fact we want to go in for this season

maybe give him another year...they usually say....give a pick 3-years before judging them?....maybe all the ins and outs of NFL receiving was too much for Tolbert first year.....i say give him a chance

before dropping the "guillotine" on him

Why would you want to sign a guy now who can’t play now anyway
Rather get someone who can be on the field

Same. We now have a possession WR, which is good. I think Hilton should help James Washington and Lamb.

love the pick up....maybe not in prime but neither OBJ and OBJ still injured.....possession receivers are real good....washington can blow past DB's let him do it....or Turpin get some plays

for him?

OBJ sucks. Let him go back to NY. I for one am glad Jerry didn't get him. I think Suh would of been a much better pick up. Jerry 's pride cost us with him letting Cooper go or at least not trading early for a wide receiver. What ese is new?????

I prefer to compare this to sort of a Randall Cobb move. I'm not expecting him to break any records or anything. I just think that Hilton should be able to get us first downs to keep drives alive. That's where he's at his best from what I've seen when he was with the Colts.

I'd say let's be patient with them for now. Washington just had his first game, and Tolbert is a rookie. It can take time for a rookie WR to become accustomed to NFL speed. I expect Tolbert to have an impact next year.
