Jamie Dues Just said on The NFL Network about Calais Campbell DE of Miami could drop into the second Third round play DE in the three-four, be alot like Cris Canty and maybe better.

I love dukes, but he isn't a draftnik. They jusy have him on there to offer some opinions. Campbell will be a late first round pick. No way he last till the 2nd or third.

But did see his speed man he was slow it was 5.0 man not 4.8-4.9. in Florida when you run 5.0 as DE that slow man.

thats not true his stock has been falling ever since he decided not to go back for his senior season at the U i've seen him projected 1-2 which is late first early second with his perfomance to day he will be 2nd maybe 3rd. He will need a strong day at his pro day to make sure he is a solid pick. He didn't bench press 2day and if he teams feels that he doesn't have enough upper body strength to seperate himself from the tackle than he will drop even further

It would be interesting if he is there for us in the second, but I don't think he would have much of a role on this team with Spears, Hatcher, Canty, and maybe even Ratliff already set.

D-Line is probably at the bottom of our needs list...right behind punter and kicker :laugh2:

Adding Campbell lets Ratliff stay inside.

Canty-Campbell with Spears and Hatcher along with Bowen.

Keep Ratliff inside with Tank and Ferg.

Lots of depth, lots of training camp competition.

Ratliff would be a better DE IMO, not that he was bad at NT, just he could be an All-Pro DE

I believe we have more pressing needs

I believe so as well but if he's still there in round 3 you would have to think long and hard.
