Only seen the original Halloween, so I'll refrain from voting.

How about that cheesey 80s Aerobics Romance Movie Bomb with John Travolta?. That was horrifying. It was like Saturday Night Fever in a Aerobics class

Some quick hitters...

I watched:

Halloween (1978), The Fog (1980), Prom Night (1980), Terror Train (1980) and Halloween II (1981)

in the theater.

The original Halloween is a classic... What more needs to be said?

The Fog has always been considered a 2nd rate Jamie Lee Curtis, John Carpenter film– even when it came out. But over the last couple decades seems to have picked up steam as a very-good horror film– which I concur. The story and the mood of the film are outstanding.

Prom Night-Great dance sequence by JLC. Surprise killer. Not a bad slasher flick. Hasn't aged well.

Terror Train-A meh slasher film, even in the early 80's.

Halloween II-A "money-grab" kind of film. But nice seeing several of the characters in the first film brought back for this one.

Only caught Road Games a few years ago. An Australian made film with Stacey Keach. It's a decent film.

Thought Halloween H20 was a decent direct sequel to the original. The story was good. But they washed this film away with Halloween 2018.

I very much enjoyed the movie Virus. Great concept for a "monster".

Halloween Resurrection. A sequel to Halloween H20– And since that film was washed away by the 2018 film so was Halloween Resurrection. I've watched it a couple times. It's watchable and that's about the extent of if.

Halloween 2018. I thought it was OK. I didn't think it was as great as what several in the industry thought.

Also one final note...

Jamie Lee Curtis also appears in Halloween 3-Season of the Witch.

It's an uncredited role where she is the voice over the loudspeaker announcing the town's nightly curfew.
