1 - #14 David DeCastro*, G, Stanford

2 - #45 Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina

3 - #83 Michael Brewster, C, Ohio State

4 - #113 Tank Carder, ILB, TCU

5 - #145 Chandler Harnish, QB, Northern Illinois

6 - #176 Michael Williams, TE, Alabama

6 - Travian Robertson, DE/DT, South Carolina

7 - #207 Akiem Hicks, DT, U of Regina 6-5 #325

He was to join the LSU Tigers in 2009, but a recruiting violation self-reported by LSU cost Hicks his shot in the NCAA and he landed in Regina in 2010

A tall, long-armed lineman who carries his weight well, displays impressive power on contact and has the first step to get up the field and overwhelm. For a big guy he displays some natural movement skills as well and his long arms allow him to gain leverage consistently. However, the former LSU transfer is still raw, but with some development looks like a guy who could end up starting in the league if he puts in the time. That is a question mark

or

Dominique Hamilton, DT, Missouri 6-5 320

Hamilton flashed all week. He can bend, has a good first step and can overwhelm on contact. He will get himself into some trouble when he gets upright inside and I would like to see him continue to fill out his lower half a little more. However, he looks like an ideal five-technique at the next level who should be able to earn a starting job in the league

I like the idea of getting a TE at some point but it will probably be a small school guy that may end up being an UDFA. Too many glaring needs elsewhere. With the supplemental pick in the sixth though, that is an option.

Also like the DT from Missouri.

1 - #14 David DeCastro*, G, Stanford

2 - #45 Josh Norman, CB, Coastal Carolins 6 #190

Of all the defensive backs in attendance, Norman is the one that truly passes the eyeball test. He's a tall, impressive looking athlete with a smooth and quick style. During full scrimmage he came up with a number of big plays, knocking away passes and almost intercepting throws. Norman also showed a good head. In the end he proved he belonged on a field with some of the better receiving talent in the nation

3 - #83 Brandon Taylor, FS, LSU Taylor has played well this season but remains underrated. Even with a lot of playmakers around him, he still has produced. Taylor has 65 tackles with 6.5 tackles for a loss, five passes broken up, one sack and two interceptions. Fast and physical, Taylor is the second-leading tackler for LSU this year.

4 - #113 Tank Carder, ILB, TCU

5 - #145 Chandler Harnish, QB, Northern Ill

6 - #176 David Snow, C/OG UT 6-4 #305
Snow looked dominant at two positions; guard and center. He's feisty, strong and football smart. Snow does not necessarily look the part, but gets the most from his ability and did not give up an inch to opponents this day. The versatility to play intelligent football at two offensive line positions helped his stock greatly.

6 Michael Williams, TE, Alabama

Michael Williams is a massive blocking tight end who did a good job of supporting the Crimson Tide's ground game.

Williams is a good blocking tight end, and he has been a part of the potent ground game that leads Alabama Williams has 14 receptions for 181 yards and two scores in 2011

or

Kevin Koger, TE, Michigan

Koger was a dominant blocker all practice long, stopping opponents dead in their tracks. He made a terrific 25-yard reception down the seam in scrimmage, displaying natural pass-catching skills.

7 - #207 Akiem Hicks, DT, University of Regina 6-5 #325

He was to join the LSU Tigers in 2009, but a recruiting violation self-reported by LSU cost Hicks his shot in the NCAA and he landed in Reginan in 2010.

For a big guy he displays some natural movement skills as well and his long arms allow him to gain leverage consistently. I wouldn't have any problem if it worked out this way.

His mock wasn't that great, and... he can't spell ruler. :)

They sure are taking these mocks serious this year . Poor mock and you are outta here .

I have no idea who he is/was but his first one (post#1)was one of the better mocks I've seen on this forum.

I don't mean that as a slight to anyone else's, I just think it would be a really good draft for us.

If we pick Carder instead of Acho in the 4th, I will be irate. Acho is far better than Carder. He is more athletic, has more range, and is definitely more intelligent.
