I don't see a need at WR. I see needs at CB, DT and possibly OL. I don't think they can find anyone to play OT than Peters and with Tyron coming back I think they are covered there unless someone else gets hurt.
Just a thought btw, the Cowboys lost Waletzko, Farniok, Tyron Smith and now Steele on the OL this year. That's a pretty good hit on the OL depth along with two projected starters.
They also lost 2 starting CBs, and their starting QB for 5 games and they are still 10-3. I think that is pretty remarkable. But can they continue to play at a high level now with Hankins and Armstrong out?
i do. .....
1 Dak needs as many serviceable weapons in pass game as possible.
2 If there's an injury, there's not sufficient depth at WR (ala washington ? Tolbert ?)
3 With Hilton, the Cowboys may decide to go the route Bucs using with Julio, use him in spots, limit packages
yes, it is a big hit on our OL with the injuries, but that's when it pays off to have Wil McClay as personnel head hunter..
it's not always a success every time, but just as we have a Josh Ball,.. we also have a Jason Peters. . .
