Question is, what would the highest price the Cowboys would be willing to pay? Losing draft capital and a sizable amount of your cap space is a tough pill to shallow. I also, believe this new scheme isn't about having a dominate edge rusher, rather disguising where the pressure is coming from with several pass rushers.

Also I dont think we can trade our 2027 pick because there is a condition on those picks for the Jets to get the higher choice.

The Cowboys could possibly give pick 20 which would be hard to beat. They even could give pick 12 which would be very hard to beat.

I like the player but I would not give up anything higher than 20. If the Raiders were inclined, I'd rather give them Pickens and some mid-late round pick this year or next. Keep my premium picks & try to parlay them into special players or trade back & get quanity of really good players.

I’d rather sign one of the FA’s out there. Not his talent but less money and you still have your picks. Adding a quality guy a tier below plus the talent you can add with the pick is gonna help more than one player can. We aren’t a player away from a good defense. We are 4-5 players away
