I don’t take joy in injuries for any players, but man I gotta admit that I got a good chuckle out of his. They’d spent like the last five minutes really celebrating his career, highlighting how many 50+ yard kicks he’d made in his career, talked about how he’d said if it called for it he’d ‘be comfortable’ attempting a 68 yarder etc. Then they showed him on the sideline looking as intense as I’ve ever seen a kicker look (had never realized how physically large the guy is) and it seemed destined to be a dramatic success and potentially set the tone for the rest of the game, especially right before the half.

Then the way he hooked it, crumpled and yelled could have been scored with the Benny Hill music. I felt bad but had to laugh and say a quick whew/thanks :muttley:

Dude was standing on the sideline and not practicing his kicks in the net............then walked out cold and tried a Hercules kick.

Not surprised at all he pulled his hammy.........there is a reason you do stretches and practice kicks, you get the muscle lose and warm from the added blood flow before you put that much torque and pressure on the muscle.

Same reason you do stretches warm up before you start jogging or running.........if you just start cold, you probably are going to pull a muscle.

Absolutely. I never pulled a muscle as bad as when I was late to practice, missed stretches, and had to run gassers.

No need to apologize, that was hella funny. I was laughing my butt off at their whole kicker shenanigans after the game.

He's soo fat. I bet he can't even walk around the block without being fully tired. No offense but that guy needs to work out, get in shape, and stretch.

I have to say I hooted with laughter when I saw that. I know, it’s definitely not fun or nice seeing a player go down, no matter the team, and I even felt kind of bad for laughing after, however, it was also funny because me and a friend were talking about how old and big he looked and then he went over there and pulled a hamstring (most likely) trying to kick the ball. Also thought Seattle kind of deserved it for playing dirty like they always do. Burns and Beasley were already hurt so, maybe it was karma?

They like his size....its all about position flex nowdays...... he could replace one of the guards or defensive tackles if they got hurt.

At his age he probably has arthritis somewhere on his leg.
