Jaquiski Tartt is an interesting Safety Prospect. Nice size, good speed. He played for Samford so the level of comp is probably an issue. I watched him against Auburn and to be honest, he didn't look that good but there is a lot of talk about this player.
Anybody have a chance to watch him play?
I saw him in 1 complete game and highlights. He looked decent. I didn't see any big mistakes and he ran stride for stride with WRs at that level. He did lose track of a WR when he had underneath help coverage. He likes to hit and appeared to ring his own bell early in that game but kept playing.
It's really hard to evaluate Safeties without the All-22 and then considering the level of competition it's even harder with the small school guys.
He played a lot of deep Safety in college but is probably more of a box guy in the NFL; although, if he lost a little weight he would probably have the athleticism to play deep.
They said he was good at the Senior Bowl.
