We got crushed.

I love Jared Allen's game. He brings it.

I think I will take any of the following... I believe in that order.

Saints
Jets
Colts

Vikes had the choice and choose to rub out nose in it, Dallas had that same choice the week before we choose to run the clock and even punted while in FG range. I'm not going to lose any sleep over what the Vikes did and I expect they will beat the Saints this weekend. So for the Vikes enjoy it while you can

Hey, they won, what can u say? He's earned the right and there isn't a damn thing Dallas can do about it until next season! Hopefully the team will keep things like this in their memory bank an use it as motivation next postseason...

I have to agree, you earn the right to talk when you win like that

I think Brooking is so emotionally into the game, that after getting their ***** whipped the entire game, he was at fever pitch. He just reacted emotionally rather than thinking about it before he acted. I personally, prefer a guy like that as opposed to other guys who just walkoff the field with their heads bowed in defeat. WE NEED MORE OF THAT FIRE .... IT SHOWS HE CARES!

I agree.

I see the other point of view, however. It was the Cowboys job to stop them. They didn't. The Vikings EARNED the right to make the decision they did, sportsmanlike or not.

...but Brooking's reaction, while slightly embarrassing to us fans, seems to be more offensive to the more sensitive fans. The ones more concerned with how they look as a fan, and how they are being treated by other fans. If the rest of the team had his emotion, no one would ever want to play us.

I applaud him. He was a bright spot this year, and this somewhat embarrassing emotional outburst will do little to sway my opinion of him as a person and a player.

Poppin off!?!?!? like you're going to rough him up... Maybe he will lagh at you like he laughed at that sore loser linebacker!

i know of one person that can rough him up and make him wished he had never popped off like he did. And trust me, you wouldnt want this person to get ahold of you either, he is rough when he wants to and would make you wish you never even thought of it with what you said.

Dont know if he will or not, but i do know he doesnt like lying and pride, so will have to wait and see.

I agree and I ill go a step further and say they may actually win it all. Indy is good, but they are not unstoppable.

They very well could win it all. As for Indy I think they will have their hands full this weekend vs the Jets. I think Indy will win but would not be shocked at all if the Jets pulled out the win.

Allen was actually on Sportscenter Monday morning and said he might have been pissed if he was in the same situation as Brooking too.

Who cares. Anyone who was crying about 27-3 as opposed to 34-3 is wasting their time.

That kind of took Brooking down a notch in my book.

Here's the stuff with Jay Glazer...

i dont have a problem with jared allen saying they whupped us and beat our butts like they did. Because they did, while we beat ourselves too.

What bugged me, was the way he went on and on about it, and said, this isnt pop warner football and said we shouldnt be crying about them running the score up on us. Yet on the podcast that DC provided, allen says if same thing happened to him, he would be pissed off too.

That to me, in a way is lying. You say one thing one time and then another if the shoe was on your foot. I hate liars period.

There's only one thing that bothers me about that last drive.

Brett Favre is 40 years old.

He's their only shot at a Super Bowl this year. If they don't win it this year, they probably won't win one this decade (since Tavaris sucks and they can't sign anyone this offseason).

We have all these big names on our front seven, and we had been blitzing.

But they still weren't afraid to leave Favre on the field, throwing the football.

That's bad.

...the only rules to gamesmanship are the ones you want to abide by. There is nothing in the rule book.

Given that there's nothing in the rule book that says you can't go back next year and deal with it.

As for Brooking, it's good to see that this game meant something to him and he was frustrated/angry enough to express it not only to the Vikings, but more importantly to the media and all of us fans.

It's important to mark an event or an incident and use it to motivate your upcoming year. It's smart team management in my opinion and you can't have enough vets doing this for you.

I'm happy to see Cowboys being angry about what the Vikings did...maybe 1t will translate into something tangible and exciting for us fans next year.

They beat us 34-3 and Jared Allen's unit in particular totally dominated the Cowboys.

He can say whatever he wants, he did his job Sunday.

I am sure I am not the only one that thinks that it is just time to move on from all of this silly stuff and complaining about the extra score and such. Not just for fans on the site but also for members of the cowboys, the media and if they were smart the vikings.

Maybe people just need to go their local pharmacy and get an exlax or a hot water bottle (depending on the severity of their pain) and clean out the crap so they can just move on.

This message brought to you by the PR firm that handles massengill and fleet.:p:

Cowboys do not need to move on, use this and learn from this in my view is what they need to do.

Unlike some I don't blame Allen or Favre it was Brad Childress call to go for the TD. Had he called for his team to take a knee that is what they would have done he choose to run up the score.

No doubt that score was meaningless at that point and our players need to see the bigger picture of the entire game and where we made mistakes and where they flat out beat us to the punch but I would also use this running up of the score as motivation.

They stomped us. They deserve to **** talk. Jarred Allen is an outstanding individual.

It amazes me to see how people react when they get butt hurt.

Not a thing in the world wrong with what they did in that game. They broke no rules and we have no right to complain about it. Class is subjective at best. I have no problem what so ever with it.

Had we done something similar to the Eagles, 95% of the people here would be praising it, and laughing about it.

I will personally be cheering for the Vikings next week, because **** the Saints and **** Drew Brees. I'd rather see the team that took us out, be the team to go to the bowl, then see a team we stomped go there.

you are as big an *** as Allen if you think we would run up the score on anyone and gloat about it
