why no talk about him. We might can get him in the 2nd or 3rd. He can rush the passer. He played mostly injuried this season. It will be interesting to see how he test at the combine. For some reason he reminds me of watt.

2nd round no, 3rd round yes. I think he would be a solid 5 tech who is good against the run, but doesn't offer much of a pass rush. AKA, a good good guy to have in the d-line rotation but not a every down starter type.

Formerly considered a first rounder, now injured? Second-round lock!

Seriously, he was a really good prospect. It'll be interesting to see how he turns out.

you know how jerry likes former first rounders that are injured:laugh1: .

he benefited from suh getting triple teamed and did nothing once he was on his own. third round maybe but no earlier for sure

I wouldn't draft him in the 1st round, even if he was healthy. Perhaps it was the system that Pelini has in place ( read and react ), but his stock fell once " a man named Suh " graduated. Late 2nd round or 3rd round ? Yea, I can see it. He'll probably be worth it if he ends up in a good team where he doesn't have to produce right away. A team like Pitt, or the Patriots, for instance.

Bo Pelini is going to have to make some philosophical changes to his defense in order for the blackshirts to recapture their dominance. The defensive backfield as a unit is very good, but the lack of producting from the defensive line ever since Suh graduated has put them in terrible situations often. They need to stop this " read and react " nonsense and attack more. The defense could benefit tremendously by it while developing more pro ready prospects. Baker Steinkuhler is a prime example of that. Crick should have been a dominant presence before he was injured, but he wasn't. Steinkuhler should have started to make his mark on the national stage by now with his play, but outside of Huskers' fans, nobody knows who he is. These are two very big, very athletic, very talented defensive tackles who have not been put in possition to showcase their talents and that has to change.
