Texas A&M G Jarvis Harrison was labeled a "knucklehead" by three different scouts speaking with the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
"He played really well in 2013, but this year he just kind of did his own thing and it showed," one scout said. "The trainer will tell the offensive linemen when they come into the locker room to cut the tape off their shoes and put it in a specific pile. Everybody follows that to the letter, but he'll do something completely opposite. Not very highly regarded at the school. He's smart enough to know to stay out of the police blotter type of thing. Just a pain in the (expletive)." Harrison started at both LG and LT in College Station. "They benched him for like the first four games of (2014)," another scout said. "I could never get a straight answerthere. Athletically, he certainly has the ability to go third round. He's lazy." A third scout was more complimentary: "He short-sets these guys and gets his hands on them, they're dead. On film, the guy was extremely impressive." Apr 25 - 11:51 PM

The fact that he is a knuckle head and over aged means he probably drops a long ways. Huge value round 7.

He looks good in game footage. I would have expected him to be rated as a mid rounder just based on the game footage.

Over aged? A lot of guys are 23 years old during their rookie season. Martin was 23 last season.

He'll be 24 during the season. Believe it or not teams supposedly look at that.

It isn't a question about believing. I just don't think they make that big of a deal about it at age 23. We aren't talking about him being 25 or older right now. Martin turned 24 during in November of last season. Harrison will turn 24 near the end of this season in December. There were 8 guys taken in the first round last season who were 23 at the time of the draft and a bunch of others taken in other rounds. Terrence Newman was 24 when Dallas drafted him in 2003 and he turned 25 just prior to the start of that season. That is someone who fits the description of over aged.

Probably for early round picks. I doubt if they care about a later round picks age.
