Do you pull the trigger? Both $EC tested, Garrett would certainly have the drop on Lacey with the Saban connection.

Insurance for potentially letting Spencer and his huge contract go next year. Lacey could be a great change of pace for Murray and keep him healthy later in the year.

Might have to do some moving up but I like proven commodities and guys I think could contribute immediately.

Both would be huge steals IMO and this would have the makings for another home run draft ala 2010 with Bryant, Lee and Murray.

Where would you play Jarvis Jones in Kiffin's defense?

Loved watching Jarvis Jones as he was a beast on the field but that guy screams 3-4 OLB to me. Actually think he would be a perfect fit for the Steelers.

Please explain?, the game is won and lost in the trenches.

He means that if you box yourself into those three and only those three areas you tend to reach for players just like we did with the three cb draft.

In other words you don't pass on a first round talent to take a 3 round player.

I think everyone pretty much knows this already. But you also do not fall in love with shiny toys. That gets you 8-8 every year.

Yep.
I agree with him too.

The way to avoid taking a player when value does not match need is to trade, up or down, to get a better match.

To me, if BPA is a TE but the next tier down are 2-3 good lineman,

I'll take one of those lineman plus a an extra 3rd round pick over that slightly better TE.
