Loved what Jarwin brought to the table Sunday. Balled out and looked great.

I'm not one of those who is saying he should be getting every snap over the old man, but using Blake for anything requiring or expecting YAC and using Witten for the dirty possession throws just makes sense. I know blocking isn't his thing, but to be honest if you watch Witt closely blocking ain't really his thing anymore either.

I've said all along there is room for both Witten and Jarwin. Many teams use 2 TE's anyway, and they both bring their own skill sets. I would like to see the targets a little more even than they have been this year, but the last few weeks it seems things may be trending toward that.

Jarwin is a key to being explosive on offense, for sure. I really like #89's game last season, and hope his lack of snaps won't slow him down mentally moving forward.

I wish he'd get up to speed on his blocking so they could use him more in the FB/TE "Cowboy" role he had in college.

Witten is a well rounded bridge TE who gives something as both a receiver and blocker. He fit this year because we whiffed on Rico and Schultz, and weren't sold on Jarwin yet as a receiving TE. Next year, Jarwin is clearly our receiving TE, and we should just move on from Witten. Get a real blocking TE in here.

TE seems a very likely high draft pick.

The fact of the matter is that the Boys should be sending Witten downfield on more than just 7 yard routes. No one expects it from Witten anymore and guaranteed he would be able to slip coverages quite easily. His td yesterday was what, 30 yards? Cowboys are totally misusing him...and Jarwin.

Meh.....

I apreciate Jarwin, that there is a clear replacement for JW. ;) too bad Rico didn't work out.

Love what he brings...but it seems to me..... a bit limited? Maybe it's the playbook or Dak? I don;t know and I am willing to be corrected. I also worry about him getting blasted. Seem fragile?

Don't get me wrong...h;e really opens up the offense. I just get the feeling it's fleeting?

He had his Kelce on yesterday with that catch and run down the sideline.

He is a restricted FA isn't he?

Yup.

They got him through next year at the very least.

Since he's an UDFA they'll have to tender him with a 2nd rounder to prevent teams from swooping in and offering him with a contract without compensation.

Only watched the first quarter - had people over - I DVR it and rewatched it.

His blocking has improved - noticed him on a couple of Zeke runs - did a very nice job.

Look at Pollards TD - left side of the line Jarwin and Shultz did a good job of blocking.
