Jason Campbell finally blasts Clinton Portis

Champ is still better at his age than Carlos Rodgers ever will be, so I'd say you still got fleeced.

That's true -- but, commonly ignored is the fact that Bailey wasn't going to resign here. He was traded before they lost him for nothing. Bad, yes. Horrible? No.

Well, that era resulted in a bunch of nothing for either team :)

Here is hoping the final end to that trade, Shanahan coming to Washington, brings something special

I remember that as well and might not think too badly if the trade was a straight up trade of Portis for Bailey...However I was thinking the Skins also gave up a pick in that trade as well. That added into the idea that they took Carlos at CB and could have had someone like Ware instead...kind of takes it back to the terrible/horrible trade area.

neither guy will be in the starting line up next year so it doesnt matter.

shanny needs to have the cojones to tear that thing totally down and re-build through the draft. in a year of no cap, i'd be cutting at least 10 guys.

This point always gets overlooked in these debates.

Portis needs to be shown the door...and I was a huge Portis fan before this year.
Your sig is gold.:laugh2:

Anyway, Portis is over the hill and likely punched his ticket outta town with his antics this year.

I bet Commander fans would like to have that trade back now, in hindsight. Not that Bailey is an all pro, but good corners don't grow on trees.
