What has 11 men, 4 DB's, 1 almost mentally challenged SS, and can make Jason Campbell look like a decent QB?

The Dallas pass defense.

In all seriousness he looked alright, but are we really surprised our soft pass D made a mediocre QB look so well? Lets be honest, this D has done this just about every week.

Coach Wade said we played soft today......like we did not know that!

Yeah, but according to Aikman and Joe Smuck, Campbell is coming into his own and was well worth the 3 picks the Skins gave up to get him. I think Campbell did well, but I will be damned if our D was just extremely poor vs Campbell being all world. There was also a Santana Moss sighting as well in this game. Way to go Dallas D! We took a step backwards today on D.

I have to agree that they went way off the reservation trying to compliment JC....Other that the Lions and us, he has been very average this year. He has had several games where he threw under 50% and for less than 150 yrds.

He is what he is...an average QB who we made look good. See John Kitna last year.

He did throw it 50+ times, you are bound to look good. But that soft zone defense that was played was pretty bad.

Our defensive philosopy allows a QB to have a good game with all the soft covers and giving them the underneath.

Its a good thing he isnt that accurate deep... he would have burned us atleast once.... maybe twice....

He was able to throw it 50+ times because he was completing it and moving the ball. If he continues to develop, we've got quite some competition for years to come.

I guess the Quincy Carter comparisons will have to be mothball'd now eh?

I thought he looked good today as I've thought the few times I've seen him.

The visit to RFK is gonna be a battle, I can imagine

Our Zone was way too soft, esp in that last TD drive. Not sure if we were playing prevent or not, but it almost prevented us from winning.

I just don't understand the concept of soft defenses.

IMO we played the same coverage we always do, we just never got the consistent pressure this time. I also think that our coaches fell for the rumors that Moss wouldn't play this week... he gave us unexpected fits that we lacked the personnel to deal with effectively.

No, we played the same coverage we always do, and we got pressure, but Campbell was getting it out quickly and accurately.

Yeah, his yardage total looks impressive, but he threw the ball 54 times... throw in the sack for -6 yards, and you have 55 pass plays, for 342 yards... that's 6.2 yards per attempt, which isn't really all that great... he only completed 61.1 per cent of his passes too, which is awfully low when he wasn't really taking shots downfield...

And of course, he had both of the Skins' turnovers... including the one that killed their last chance... which may vindicate what I've been saying, that Gibbs has been so ultraconservative because he didn't want Campbell beating the team with mistakes... well, today the Skins took the wraps off of Campbell, and lo and behold, he beats the team with mistakes... as a result, his best game yardage-wise, by something like 100 yards, is a loss for the Skins...

It should be said that Campbell had a lot of wide-open receivers, too... that made his big day a lot easier...

No need to conduct voting for the NFC Offensive Player of the Week, just ship it on over to TO... the guy's a lock... that's three weeks in a row that he's come up just HUGE...

Ten games played, and nobody's held the Cowboys to under 25 points... even though it felt like the offense struggled most of the game, they still put up 28 today...

The last 4 games for TO he is well over 100 yards. 5 100+ games this year.... 2 other games just under 100.

He is turning it on at the right time.... Garrett is methodically working him in more and more....

I love how Romo reads the defense as they make mistakes and makes them pay with a TO TD

whatever dude.

He has an electric arm and was given enough time to throw the football. He is an up and coming player.

the things fans complain about here are pitiful.
