Hey, it could be worse-- you could live in Oswego County, NY... those folks had been having a winter much like ours, somewhat warmer than average, with no snowfall at all (which is unusual for those folks)-- until about 3 weeks ago... then it turned COLD, just like it has here... and a week or so back, it started snowing, lake effect snows...
And it kept on snowing... and snowing... and snowing... until now one little corner of Oswego County has had 131 inches-- ELEVEN FRICKIN' FEET of snow, in the last 10 days or so...
With 2 to 4 more feet predicted over the next coupla days... now, those folks get a lot of snow up there, one section of Oswego County actually holds the New York state record for snowfall in a winter, once back in the late 70s they had a total of 467 inches of snow...
But ELEVEN FRICKIN' FEET of snow, in 10 days?? Thirteen to fifteen feet in two weeks?? Man, Alaskans are shaking their heads in pity at those poor folk...
It was reported that at times, the snow was coming down at a rate of 3 inches an hour... that's some serious snow, and with twenty plus mile an hour winds, that's a serious blizzard...
Yeah, it's cold here right now, but we've had two little snows, both 3 inches or less... I'm not gonna gripe too much...
