Really? I kind of like Mo on Edelman right now. Patmon on Amendola isn't too bad, either. But Brady will find the open guy. If we don't tackle and get better S play, we're toast. But I think we'll tackle and get better S play.

Mo can't hang with Edleman.

Mo can't hang with Edleman.

He just hung with Brandin Cooks. He can hand with Edelman as well as the average CB has done so far.

It'll be interesting to see, too, because both teams have experience in camp covering those little slot WRs. We'll get to see who does a better job against whom.

Brandon Cooks hasn't done jack squat against ANY team this year. He isn't remotely close to Edleman's skill level. If they put Mo on Edleman one on one it will be a long Sunday. It will be a long Sunday anyway because our team will be outcoached and on top of that we have a lot of injuries.

I haven't in years but yes, I've been to several Cowboys games in Phllly and New York. Never in D.C. though.

So, you have all this incredible insight about our stadium, in which you've never been. Got it.

Jason Garrett took some pressure off Byron Jones on Wednesday when the Dallas Cowboys head coach said covering New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski won’t rest solely on the rookie defensive back’s shoulders.

That’s good news for the 6-foot-1, 198-pound UConn product, who has impressed through four games but seems unmatched to shadow 6-foot-6, 265-pound Gronkowski.

“It is our challenge,” Garrett said. “(Rob) Gronkowski is a really good football player, and we would never just put one guy on him. We have to try and slow their offense down a lot of different ways. He is a big part of their offense.

“Just speaking toward Byron, he has done a really good job. He is a young player, he hasn’t been in a lot of these situations yet, but he was both a safety and a corner in college. He is a very good athlete. He is a mature guy, and he hasn’t shied away from anything, whether it is a rep against a really good player in training camp or opportunities in the first part of the season, he always goes at it 100 percent. He is not tentative, not shy. He is a physical player and he’s got some ability. He’s learning as he goes, but I think he is capable of doing a lot of different things, and I think his approach has been really good.”

I listened to the entire PC. When he made the comment about Jones he did not say Jones would not play him 1 on 1. Nor was that the intention. He said it Gronk was not a Jones issue but a team issue. Kills me how words are twisted so easy.
