I have been against Jason Garrett for a long time now. The reason was because i became so tired of watching teams that play an aggressive style of defense beating us up and forcing us into mistakes. I realized that it wasnt Romo's fault for some of the turnovers and Ints. Romo was always playing under so much pressure because the play calls were so predictable and never adjusted to take advantage of what the defense gave us. Watching how different the plays have been called recently leads me to believe that JG finally gets it. NFL network and ESPN keep showing how good dallas and romo was last night on short passes of 5 yards or less. It has been the difference against the over aggressive blitzing defense. In years past Garrett would keep calling plays so far down field that Romo and company didnt have much of a chance. Now if the defense blitzs we have a screen or quick slant waiting for them, or a gashing run.

So i am here to say thank you Garrett. I ripped you and now i respect you. You have finally made adjustments and now teams dont know what to do against us.

careful...we said this heading in to greenbay to

Philly never did figure out the WR screen play.........Garrett must have thrown that at them a dozen times in last 2 weeks....

Vikes gotta be prep for that but.....

but......Garrett has gotta be adding some specials to that package....a go pattern after the base is shown and pursuit comes hard......

Vikes are gonna crash that hard, all its gonna take is a pump fake from Romo
Heck could just have Witten fake the block turn up feild on a go patten, at worst 1 on 1 with a safety

.....or sub in Miles into Witten spot for more speed.......

Yep, it sure looks like we ran less shotgun and more meat-and-potatoes football with play action from under center the last few weeks. And I love the basic running plays like on Felix's 73-yard run. IIRC last week we even ran a little counter trey look to Felix.

Great job RJ! :D

Winfield does a great job in run support... I suspect the WR screen to his side, he would diagnose quickly and defend it will.

Good news is.... I think we can exploit that by faking the screen, and getting Austin deep on Winfield for big plays.

Or else maybe we're executing better on offense and Felix is healthy enough to start pitching to him and getting it to the perimeter again.

Ironically, he started to get it when Norv Turner came to town and called an offensive game-plan that was beautiful, against this solid Dallas defense... even Michael Irvin jokingly called Norv Turner the MVP of the Cowboys...

Vikes will be looking hard for that play deep in the Redzone, its really a low risk high return play at that part of feild

I think more teams dont run it because of what we have in Romo--he has the quickest release, even faster than Marino.........the ball gets out to a receiver coming at Romo on the move....

other QB's with slower motions gives the D alot more reaction time than Romo does.....

this is why i have remained a supporter despite some struggles. i had confidence that he would improve, and will continue to improve. everybody goes through growing pains. he will face more adversity in the future, but he can get the job done.
